With the project so close to the school and local housing, we wanted to make sure that we reminded the children about the dangers of construction sites and the importance of staying safe around them and not to enter them without an adult.

Paula our Social Value Manager and Ian our Health & Safety Manager attend the school assembly at the beginning of May to use a child friendly safety presentation to convey the message to the pupils of the school.

The reception class are looking at buildings as part of the curriculum for this term and will be providing us with some artwork in the form of safety posters for our site hoarding. We are really looking forward to getting the posters displayed at the site for the community to view, and getting the children over to the site to ‘unveil’ them on our community section.
