Logistics and Design for Cardiff Development Project
The site is situated in a well-populated area of Cardiff close to the city centre. Therefore, a detailed site logistics plan is required in consideration of the steel frame erection and materials storage. The proposed design is robust and consists of a steel frame system with external brick work. The proposed design is in accordance with the Welsh Government Development Quality Requirements (DQR) and Secured by Design. The structural warranty provider will be involved in the scheme from the offset and all structural warranty requirements/standards will be followed.

About the project
The building will achieve an EPC ‘A’ rating through incorporating renewable energy sources and energy efficient materials/building components into the design.
We will prioritise the employment of local labour and suppliers where possible. We plan on giving back to the local community, details of how this will be achieved are being considered. In addition, the development will be registered with the Considerate Constructors Scheme for the duration of the project.
The project is due to start in June 2022 with an expected project duration of 60 weeks.
