Former Porth Infants School

The former Porth JuniorSchool site has been successfully redeveloped into a high-quality residentialscheme. The project comprised the demolition of the existing school buildings,followed by the design and construction of 6 no. 2B4P split-level houses and 9no. 1B2P general needs flats.

Construction commenced inAugust 2023 and was completed in August 2025. The development has achieved anEPC rating of A, reflecting its strong focus on energy efficiency andsustainability. Key features include the installation of solar panels,sustainable urban drainage systems (SuDS), and other measures designed tominimise the carbon footprint over the life cycle of the buildings.

In addition to providingmuch-needed affordable housing, the scheme has also delivered wider communitybenefits, including the installation of a defibrillator for the Porthcommunity, further supporting health, safety, and wellbeing in the local area.
